Hydrogen
Leak Detectors have different specifications and needs based on the
application of the user. Some users want to insert a tracer gas into
an object or vessel then check that vessel for leaks. For many
years, helium mass spectrometers were used with helium used as the
tracer gas. Hydrogen mixture using 5% hydrogen and 95% nitrogen
(non-combustible green label gas) is now more popular due to the
lower cost compared to helium and the low maintenance of the
Sensistor Hydrogen Leak Detector. For these customers in production
applications the
Sensistor H2000 would be
the best choice.
Other users
may have a hydrogen system that they need to leak check or have a
maintenance application where there is a know leak and location
identification of that leak is most important. The highly portable
Sensistor 9012
that weighs only 8 lbs. would be the leak detector choice.
