Rebuilding of Vacuum Pumps to Meet New Pump Specifications
ADVACO for nearly 50 years has been the premier provider for a vacuum pump rebuild (also know as vacuum pump remanufacturing). ADVACO rebuilds all major brand vacuum pumps including Alcatel, Busch, CTI, Edwards, Leybold, Pfeiffer Vacuum. ADVACO specializes on rebuilding Stokes Vane Pumps, Stoke Rotary Piston Pumps, Stokes High Vacuum Blowers, Sargent Welch, Roots Dresser, and Scroll Pumps ( Edwards Iwata, & Varian).
Advantages/Benefits of using ADVACO for a vacuum pump rebuild:
1. No evaluation fee. Should you choose to not have your vacuum pump rebuilt, we will either scrap the pump for you or you can pay shipping to return the pump back to you disassembled.
2. Industry best 24 month warranty from installation of the vacuum pump. So until your pump is returned to service, the warranty does not start. We ask that you notify us when the pump is re-installed.
3. Full evaluation report on each pump available for review. We provide a findings report for each vacuum pump rebuild. More detailed reporting is available.
4. Full testing of each rebuilt pump to show it meets original pump specifications. Each rebuilt vacuum pump is tested for it's ultimate vacuum level to insure it meets new pump specifications. Gas load testing is also completed on each pump to insure it meets specifications.
Types of Vacuum Pumps Rebuilt
Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump Rebuild
Each rotary vane vacuum pump is fully disassembled and evaluated to determine steps needed to remanufacture the pump. All consumable parts such as gaskets, o-rings, valves, seals, and springs are quoted for the replacement. Motors are bench tested for proper operation.
Once the customer has approved the work to be completed the pump is remanufactured by ADVACO technicians.
Each assembly, each vacuum pump is rigorously tested for operating temperature, vibration, poise, motor amperage, pumping speed, gas flow and ultimate vacuum. Each pump is tested and monitored by computerized test equipment and verified against OEM standards.
Warranty of 24 months from date of installation.
Vacuum Piston Pump
1.Each Stokes or other rotary piston vacuum pump is fully disassembled and evaluated to determine steps needed to remanufacture the pump. The evaluation is “no cost” to the customer. Every rotary piston pump rebuild begins with complete disassembly and cleaning before the evaluation is performed. During the evaluation all critical tolerances are measured and noted on a detailed failure analysis report that will be forwarded to you for review. The standard rebuild of a piston pump will include o-rings, gaskets, seals, freeze plugs, keys, valve springs, valve clappers, valve seats, bearings, sight glass, oil flow indicator, ball valves, solenoid valve, drive shaft, and a rebuilt oil separator.

Each turbo vacuum pump rebuild included replacement of all bearings, o-rings, and all other consumable parts by factory-trained technicians in a clean environment with precision dynamic balancing. Diagnosis and repair of controller and/or power supply

Cryopump Rebuild
Refurbishment of the cryo-pump head. Replacement of all seals, bearings, indium gaskets, bushings and o-rings.

Scroll Pump Rebuild
1 .The standard rebuild of the turbo pump includes disassembly, cleaning, and replacement of the following parts:
Precision Bearings, O-ring, Vibration Rings & Wicks/Felts
2. Prior to assembly, the rotor assembly of your pump will be verified for proper balance and adjusted if necessary. ADVACO utilizes a Schenck Trebel dual plane balancer in order to meet the OEM balance requirements. This ensures maximum pump and bearing life.
3. Once your turbo pump is assembled, it is run for a minimum of 24 hours and performance is verified on our computer controlled test system. Each turbo pump is also leak checked to ensure leak tight integrity.
4. After testing is completed, the inlet and exhaust flanges of your turbo pump are sealed and it is placed in a heavy plastic bag for protection.
5. Warranty is then 24 months from the time of installation.
