NW (also known as KF & QF)
NW Vacuum Hardware is known also as KF and QF. NW Vacuum Hardware are quick release and are great in rough vacuum to high vacuum applications. NW Fittings are quick and easy to use and assemble into a vacuum system. Sizes range from 10 mm (NW1o) to 50 mm (NW50). Seals are reusable and bakeable to 150C with Viton o-ring seals.
ISO Vacuum Hardware
ISO Vacuum Hardware is very similar to NW but start in larger sizes ranging from ISO 63 (63 mm) to ISO 500 (500mm). ISO flanges can be bolt style or connected using claw type clamps. The claw type is commonly referred to as ISO-K. ISO flanges are connected using centering rings and elastomeric o-rings.
CF Flanges & Fittings
CF flanges (originally known as conflat) use a copper gasket and knife-edge flange seal to achieve an ultra-high vacuum seal. This knife edge into the softer copper gasket forms an ultra-tight seal and one that can be baked out to 450 degrees C without causing damage to the seal parts. CF flanges are sexless and interchangeable.
